2005 Race Against PH Photos
The Vera Moulton Wall Center at Stanford was pleased to host the 5th Annual Race Against PH on November 6, 2005 at Stanford University. The event attracted a record number of participants and supporters. Dr. Marlene Rabinovitch, Director of Research, Vera Moulton Wall Center, served as Master of Ceremonies and also completed the 3.1 mile (5k course). Several PH patients, flanked by their many supporters, also participated in the event. Their determination and effort was an inspiration to all.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Ewing Family Fund for PH Research at Stanford and the PHA. We would also like to thank our corporate sponsors: Pfizer, Actelion, INO Therapeutics, Encysive, Priority Healthcare, CoTherix, Accredo and United Therapeutics. Post event activities included a bouncer for the kids and kids at heart as well as refreshments donated by local merchants. Not only did we raise funds and get the word out about pulmonary hypertension, but we also had a great time in the process.
